andreyferraz it's a beautiful work, the songs bring a very good atmosphere, the keyboards certainly fit perfectly in all the melancholy! Favorite track: Landscape of Ice.

Ädäm The new project of walden´s mastermind is a wintery cold and raw black metal attack, but a very strong and good one with a fine flair for atmospheric melodies! Favorite track: Landscape of Ice.

Caleb Bratcher If you like a little church organ sprinkled in your black metal, you'll like this EP. Also the chord progression on Winter Nights is fantastic. Favorite track: Winter Nights.

Filipe Machado Atmospheric black metal like this is quite rare. Skognatt set up a majestic mid-tempo soundscape, mighty and somehow heroic, but also full of melancholy.
The slightly raw, but heavy production is absolutely adequate as a too polished sound would probably destroy the mysterious effect. Great!

REVIEWS:

'This is just a two track EP, and with these two tracks you get sucked in pretty easily. Landscapes of Ice is a great EP and a great listen as well as a great starting point for an even deeper trek into the frozen wastelands when a full length or a lengthier EP comes out.'
(cadavergarden.wordpress.com/2016/07/29/skognatt-landscape-of-ice)

'... it offers excellent oldschool-synth-black metal with an icy cold atmosphere. DZ, the mastermind behind SKOGNATT, definitely has a knack for great arrangements and gloomy melodies. The best spots are the embedded particles in the form of overlapping organs and barnstorming acoustic guitars.'

'This two-song EP sounds as icy as they come. Acoustic instruments add a folky vibe to the sound, but the serpent-like vocals keep it grounded in the typical sinister nature of black metal. The slower pacing only adds to a certain sense of dread. For such a small project, I am impressed with the strong production and mixing job.'
